When Addiction Turns Into Masochism
Our life begins with complete serenity and innocence, until we are exposed to various turmoils of life. You might have been neglected, abused, exposed to violence, perhaps, but in every human being, this pain is accumulated over time and turns into a disease. We use our darkness to mask our pain, and follow our dreams to succeed on our venture.
Some are motivated by fear, yet some are, by guilt. Be it any emotion that drives you, the root is always pain. This may help us understand the basis of creation of Universe. We can only empathise with God, if we know ourselves.
The moment God felt the sadness of his aloneness, a tear dropped out of nowhere, creating ripples, resulting in waves and soon a vast Ocean was formed. This world became the Creator’s escape, an addiction.
Now, this dream has made the One, forget the past. Now the Self resides on a top of a mountain, leading an army of Saints and angels.
Everyone around is mesmerised by the Divine light, although, there are a few who are aware of the Darkness. This is the secret that even the Creator has hidden from itself.
